Independent Qualified Person Building Checks and Maintenance

To ensure the ongoing safety and maintenance of your business’ fire safety systems your systems need to be checked according to the systems compliance schedule.  This needs to be done by an Independently Qualified Person (IQP).

Our IQP’s are registered to check your business systems for the following:

• Emergency lighting alarms and systems
• Building signs
• Fire separation
• Safety barriers
• Means of escape
• Disabled access
• Fire hose reels

How often do I need to check my safety systems?

IQP Reports and Building Warrant of Fitness

Understand what IQP and building WOF reports your business needs and when those reports are due. Get all your IQP reports and building WOF reports from a team you can trust. When your reports are due, we’ll go through the whole process with you, issuing you a Certificate of Compliance with inspection, maintenance and reporting procedures (a 12a form).

Customised fire protection and evacuation plans

Protecting your business for the event of fire is about more than just a fire alarm or fire extinguishers.  Your employees and anyone visiting your business will need to know exactly what to do in the event of fire including what actions they need to take, where their nearest exits are and where the evacuation point is.  We’ll work with you to identify and implement a custom fire evacuation plan and identify ways that your business can minimise the risk of fire.
